Engineering fencing project

Number of participants: 40

The project is involved in the production and site installation of heavy duty fencing around Park and community areas in the Hull area.

The first project is to fence of parts of East Park which border main roads in order to improve safety and security of the children and their families using the park. The second project is to fence the amenity site at Walton Street to improve security.

Manufacture & site installation of ornamental fencing to enhance and secure the park areas. Manufacture will involve measurement, cutting, welding & jig work. Erecting will involve Teamwork, Assembly & Groundwork.

Qualifications available include Manufacture Foundation Level 2, Wordpower and Numberpower.

Job Search will be conducted on a weekly basis, along with one day’s qualification training per week. Assistance will be given with interview techniques were needed, and the participants will have access to a telephone, stationary and assistance with the preparation of a CV.
