Recycle old computers back into the community

This project will look at taking redundant computers and associated equipment discarded by businesses, public sector organisations and private individuals, and recycle it.

The recycled equipment will then be redistributed to the education sector, voluntary and charitable sector and new start self-employed. The project will be delivered by the Hull ITec, and will include waged places.

Jobsearch will be targeted towards meeting the needs of the Personal action plan. If it is felt that training in interview technique is required these can be arranged.

This project is waiting funding but should commence late 1998.
